The U.S. Geological Survey EROS Data Center (EDC) is responsible for receiving, processing, and archiving all EO-1 ALI and Hyperion image data products for distribution to other government agencies and the general public. In addition, a customer can submit a Data Acquisition Request (DAR) for the tasking of a new scene image. All newly collected scene(s) are provided exclusively to the customer for 90 days. Following the 90-day holdback period, the data becomes available to the general public as an archived product. ALI and Hyperion data products are radiometrically corrected (Level 1R) but are not geometricallycorrected. The image data is provided in 16-bit radiance values and is available in HDF format.
